Today i drove my brother early to the airport, he's on his way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He's got a job offering there in a Japanese restaurant.
Seems like twas just yesterday when we go out fishing, swimming on the beach or on river with our friends, hunting for birds, and just strolling around the woods talking, worry-free. As days go by, we learned to play basketball, finished college and went our way off to explore the world outside. I went to Cebu and he went to Manila for years, then we found ourselves back home.
and now, it's always heartbreaking everytime we say goodbye to mama and papa. Mama had to cry everytime while papa maintains his toughness but then again, life is like that, we don't stay in just one place forever. we will look for our place in this circle of life. our own place.
my brother is probably in Malaysia now, and i am here with my older sister and parents. i pause to think of those changes that occured in my life.
in less than two months time i'm getting married. another goodbye for my mama and papa. i'd be moving on to live with my future wife, and raise kids of my own.
and so the circle of life continues... we were born and soon grow old...
and while i'm here now.. Lord God in heaven, i pray.. to remind me to enjoy the journey..as much as i would enjoy my destiny..
